Our Story
Hello! I’m Maryann – artist & designer, shipping manager, website manager, social media manager, photographer & editor!
My inspiration for ADORND Wreaths came from realizing I absolutely loved decorating for all the seasons and holidays but hated having to pick and choose which ones to decorate for because of how bulky and hard it is to store everything. Additionally, I’ve come to realize I loved the minimalist lifestyle and wanted the things in my home to be less toxic and better for the environment – I didn’t want to keep adding to the clutter and landfill.
In searching for a more minimal, eco-conscious solution I noticed a majority of the wreaths on the market are made with plastic, Styrofoam and polyester which makes them hazardous to the environment and our health. An alternative option to faux decorative wreaths might be fresh live wreaths but in the end they are not much better as they use metal bases and often still use plastic objects to accessorize the wreath and of course do not have a long lifecycle (not to mention they are usually more expensive and designed to be single use).
Thus, the first Adornd Wreath prototype was born - fitting wreaths to cover a year of many holidays into a small storage bin. Leveraging my degrees in fine arts and my sustainably focused finance degree, I sought to develop this idea into more than just convenience, but an opportunity to provide like-minded consumers with more options in seasonal home décor. No home décor brand currently on the market offers the amount of customizable potential while also reducing clutter and waste!
Our Vision & Mission
ADORND Wreaths has always been most inspired by the simple philosophy that "less is more". Unfortunately, that philosophy is at odds with most consumables today, from fashion to furniture. Consider the home décor market: a cycle of mass production held together by any number of chemical synthetics that leave a trail of waste and eventually end up in landfills. Yet the seasonal pressure to buy more and buy new still persists. In recognizing this (and doing my fair share of late-night Googling) it became my small mission to challenge the space between home décor and sustainability.
Our primary goal is to create an eco-friendly alternative to home décor while also enabling you to express yourself and your passions.

WHAT MAKES YOUR WREATHS BETTER?
All of our materials are more environmentally friendly and responsibly sourced! But of course, the functionality of our interchangeable wreath system is the most obvious differentiator when looking at other, single season wreaths. Buy one base and then add as many attachments as you want to your collection while minimizing your seasonal clutter!
WHAT IS MY WREATH MADE OF?
Our wreath bases are made from sustainably sourced Birch wood, laminated and custom cut to provide a durable and perfect year-round backdrop for your decorative attachments. Each attachment is made from an assortment of felt created flowers and decorations using either Eco-Fi felt (felt made from recycled plastic bottles) or a wool-rayon blend (a naturally sourced felt material).
HOW LONG WILL MY WREATH LAST?
If cared for properly many, many years! In order to ensure your wreath stays looking its best, we recommend indoor placement or sheltered outdoor placement as outdoor elements might damage the felt decorations. The birch base is sealed and is moderately weather resistant.
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY WREATH?
To protect the vibrant colors and the integrity of the product, we suggest that you hang this wreath indoors or outdoors out of direct weather conditions as the material can fade and get damaged. Expect the wreath to fade over time if it is exposed to direct sunlight. When it’s time for it to be put in storage we recommend using a small piece of cardboard on top and bottom to help keep it flat and protect it from dust particles. When it comes time to display or clean your wreath attachment, we recommend using a hair dryer on a low setting to blow the dust off the wreath. It is natural for a wreath to accumulate dust and particles if displayed outside for a long period.
HOW BIG ARE THE WREATHS?
All of our wreaths are 18” in diameter and approximately 2” in depth with the attachment attached (the Birch base is ¼” thick) – making them perfect for a front door that has a screen or storm door.
HOW CAN I DISPLAY MY WREATH?
You have a few options! Wreaths can be laid flat as a table decoration with a flame-less candle in the center or hung on a door or window with a nail or 3M hook. All bases are shipped with a centered hanging bracket for your convenience.
WHAT ELSE OR WHO ELSE SHOULD I BUY A WREATH FOR?
As a hostess gift for a holiday party, as a raffle item for charity event, for your mail person, for your hairdresser, for your best friend, for your co-workers, for your boss, for that hard to shop for family member or for anyone else you’d like to share some holiday cheer with!
HOW WILL YOU SHIP MY ORDER?
Our wreaths are shipped via USPS. You should receive a shipping confirmation email from USPS with your package tracking number once the order has shipped. We require a street address for all deliveries (including any apartment or unit numbers). We ask that, when possible, you please provide an address where a daytime recipient is available.
We cannot be held responsible for USPS delivery issues or problems due to an incorrectly provided address. Please check that you have typed in the correct street address and verify your ZIP code.
WILL I RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION EMAIL WHEN I PLACE MY ORDER?
Yes! Once you’ve placed your order on our website, you will receive a confirmation email shortly afterwards to let you know that your order has been processed. This confirmation email summarizes your order and provides an order number for reference.
DO YOU SHIP OVERSEAS OR TO ALASKA, HAWAII OR CANADA?
No, we do not currently ship any orders to Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, or to any addresses outside the contiguous United States.
CAN I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY ORDER?
You can contact us, within 24 hours of placing your order, by sending us an email (info@adornddecor.com) from 9am to 5pm MT Monday through Saturday. Let us know your order confirmation number (this would be needed to make any changes) along with clear details on what you would like to change about your order.
We will do our best to accommodate these changes, but not all requests may be granted.
CAN I EXPEDITE MY ORDER?
Unfortunately, we are not currently offering priority or express shipping options, but we are happy to provide FREE UPS ground shipping anywhere in the contiguous United States.
DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS?
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, along with the receipt or proof of purchase.
